Winter’s Wisdom…
Maybe we are so fascinated by the magic of winter because it calls us back to our roots. This time of year, when nature becomes silent, offers us the space to truly tune in to our inner world. I believe this is the Earth’s invitation to reassess and realign with the voice within—with our intuition.
This winter season can be literal, marked by frosty days and long nights, or it can be a metaphorical winter in our lives—a time when everything external seems to shut down, urging us to turn our gaze inward. While it may feel challenging at the moment, this inward focus is ultimately a blessing, guiding us toward greater alignment and our highest good in the long term.
I think many of us come into this world searching for a handbook—a set of rules to make life predictable, where we believe, If I do this, I will get that. But life rarely works in such a linear way. What once worked in one situation may fail us in another, leaving us feeling hopeless and discouraged as we try to restructure the system in our minds.
The problem is, we think too much in a world that was ultimately designed to be felt.
When we turn inward and begin following our intuition, its guidance never fails to lead us toward our true path.
Yes, it can be challenging, and yes, it takes courage to walk this road, but it never feels wrong as long as it aligns with the heart’s calling.
The heart is, after all, the only compass we truly need to navigate this world.
